ICAPP Update (25-61) ICAPP Observer Mission to the General Elections in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar

Dear Distinguished Members of the ICAPP Standing Committee,

This is to inform you that the ICAPP Secretariat has received an invitation letter from the Union Election Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to attend the upcoming general elections as international election observers. The elections will be held on December 28, 2025.

In this regard, the Secretariat will designate Hon. Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Co-Chairperson and Special Rapporteur of the ICAPP Standing Committee, to serve as the ICAPP observer mission.
