ICAPP Update (23-14): Appointment of the New Secretary-General

Dear Distinguished Members of the ICAPP Standing Committee,

This is to inform you that in regards to the ICAPP Update 23-08, there have been no objections to the proposal for the appointment of Hon. Ahn Myung-soo, former Ambassador to Turkmenistan and Consul-General in Houston of the Republic of Korea, as the new Secretary-General. In this vein, Hon. Ahn Myung-soo is appointed as the 4^th Secretary-General as of 1 March 2023.

In accordance with Para 1, Article 13 of the ICAPP Charter, this appointment shall be subject to confirmation at the 12^th General Assembly to be held next year. Until then, Hon. Ahn Myung-soo will be in charge of the general management of the Secretariat.
