ICAPP Update (23-62) Documents of Upcoming 6th ICAPP Media Forum & Revised ToR

Dear Madam and Sirs,

I anticipate seeing you all in Seoul this week.

As discussed at the 40th ICAPP Standing Committee Meeting held in Kathmandu, Nepal on October 14th, 2023, the Secretariat has been continuing the work to streamline the terms of reference for the various affiliated bodies of ICAPP.

As the 6th ICAPP Media Forum nears at hand, the Secretariat has prepared a draft of the revised Terms of Reference of the ICAPP Media Forum (see attached). And the Secretariat wishes to adopt the revised terms of reference during the opening session of the 6th ICAPP Media Forum to be held in the morning of November 18, 2023.

I would like to seek your views and comments on the draft until the afternoon of November 17th (Friday).

The draft and any responses from you will be discussed at the Bureau Meeting of the ICAPP Standing Committee on the evening of November 17th.

The theme is "Role of the Media in Building an Asian Community and Political Democratization" as previously stated on the tentative program.
